Hornady® Manufacturing has donated a generous gift to The GRACE Foundation during their
annual Christmas party. This is the 4th year The GRACE Foundation has received this gift. The
GRACE Foundation is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving cancer patients,
cancer survivors, and their families.
The donation was made possible from partial proceeds of the sale of Hornady® Critical
Defense® Lite™ ammunition sold from November 2015 through November 2016. Critical
Defense® Lite™ features a pink bullet tip and pink ribbon packaging to help showcase support in the fight against cancer.
So far this year, GRACE Foundation has paid out over $70,000 in assistance. GRACE
Foundation assists cancer patients, cancer survivors, and family members who live within 40
miles of Grand Island, Nebraska, or are being treated at the Grand Island Cancer Treatment
Center. Aid is given in a variety of forms to address financial expenses not typically covered by
insurance, such as gas cards to better enable patients to access treatment, assistance in paying
household expenses, food certificates, and more.
Laurie Kulus, Executive Director of GRACE Foundation adds, “This gift makes it possible for us
to directly affect families in our community and the surrounding area. Hornady is extremely
dedicated to our community and this gift is a direct reflection of their commitment. We are
blessed beyond words for this incredible donation and thank Hornady for being an outstanding
community advocate.” Without this gift, we would not be able to help assist as many cancer patients as we are able to because of this.
